| "Lovely place! Very romantic! Spectacular view and great Villa. We had a Panoramic Villa #10 the last one on the top near the reception. Very quiet and beautifull view. But the pool was not cleaned every day and we had to remove the leaves from it before to use it. It is perfect to recuperate from the Jet lag but 3 days is enough... You are away from Ubud 30 min by car. Very steep road too during raining season. Another problem is during raining season it is the insect's time... a lot of them in the room at night! The restaurant is really dark also because of the insects so go to eat after 8PM if you want to eat without them!! The food is good but after 3 days we need more varieties. Don't miss the warm apple tart a delicious one like the French knows to do! The spa is average nothing to mention except first time I received a massage that the therapist doesn't cover the body part that she just finished to massage, a lack of Savoir Faire! After that we went to the Chedi Club in Ubud it is a must!!! Best value in Ubud!!" |

| "The Hanging Gardens are set in a fabulous setting in the jungle and have spectacular views across the valley to the temple opposite. The room is lovely and the bathroom is beautiful - with both indoor and outdoor bath tubs. there is also a great restaurant with great food and a very relaxing spa - though there are not many amenities other than eating and sitting on your outside decking. If you love your own company you'll enjoy the solitude as there really is nothing to do and nothing nearby so you have to eat at the hotel or get a 25-30 min cab ride into Ubud (not 15 mins away as stated on website!!)
Overall its great for a couple of days to see Ubud and sleep off the jetlag but after that you may be feeling a bit restless and want to see a bit more of Bali..also although lovely - our room did smell of damp abit which was a bit nasty so if they put you in a room close to the river I'd advise you ask for a more elevated room nearer the top of the mountain! | "The warm welcome that we received when we walked into the reception gave a wonderful first impression, infact all the staff made sure that are stay was special, it was our honeymoon and we had lots of special suprises.
Although Ubud is renown for being rainy, the hotels beautiful setting distracts from the sometimes poor weather, and the pools are so fantastic they have to be tried out even in the rain!
Have a look at the making of the hotel book in the library, its amazing and makes you appreciate the hotel even more.
The only negative was that the hotel restaurant was very expensive, but you can always get a taxi into Ubud for an evening meal!" |

| "This is beautiful hotel in the very quiet location with wonderful view & fantastic pool. Beacause of the hotel located in the valley so the temperature of the main pool is a bit cool. but the room is perfect with heated infinity pool with minimum guaranteed temperature 29 degrees. But there is a bit disappointed me with the hotel cannot provided enough services to support to solve my personal problem. Overall this is a very good hotel." |

| " We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful resort in March 2007. Special about this resort are of course the private swimmingpools (at all the bungalows), the birds and the monkeys and the amazing views(the surroundings give you a tropical feeling). Nice are the natural open elevators/trains and the polite staff and good English speaking lift boys who will take you to the several levels of the resort. The restaurant is good (but not excellent and also not very cheap)and has a great ambiance with exotic views. A disadvantage is the location of the hotel(30 minutes from Ubud by taxi). I rent a scooter in town and let it delivered at the hotel. The trips I made in the direct environment (with my wife and baby on the scooter)were nice and quiet(farmer atmosphere). We will defenitely go again to this hotel. Ronald van Heijningen, Amsterdam, The Netherlands " |

| "Everything was perfect at Ubud Hanging Garden. We just hanging around at the hotel (don't need to find out other place). It was just like swimming in the rainforest. The staff, the every spot of the hotel, and the food.... everything makes me happy, comfortable and relax... It was a great experience and it was quite worth the money!" |
