"great location, right in the middle of monkey forest road, only had one problem, no hot water in the room, when i let them no, a maintenance man came and turned taps on, but didnt come back, so had to have cold showers. "

"The location of this hotel is fantastic. Right in the middle of Ubud. The room that we stayed in was not all that private. The floors were also very dirty. We could do with some indoor slippers so our feet weren't black from walking around. We could hear people next door when they were in their courtyards on either side. Staff were friendly. "

"This place was nice enough, however there was no internet access. The room was spacious and the bathroom outdoor concept was nice. The room we were in had a slightly damp feel to it, but perhaps it didnt get as much sun as other rooms. Either way, we enjoyed our stay, but for variety would pick somewhere different nect time. There are so many lovely places to stay in Ubud."

"Have stayed at this hotel before. Rooms are great although light globes blown and flat batteries in handsets - not fixed when reported. Staff friendly and welcoming. Food selection other than breakfast poor and food service slow."

"I stayed in the standard room for three nights. The location is perfect which is smack bang right in the centre of Ubud. You couldn't ask for anything better for the money I paid. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Like all the other comments from people who stayed here, the breakfast is rather ordinary and when you are visiting such a wonderful location, go elsewhere and treat yourself. Would I stay here again? The answer is YES! "

"The main reason we chose Ubud Village Hotel is due to its good location and we thought we could see padi field from the hotel. Unfortunately, we didn't see any padi field around there. I guess the pictures that they put in the hotel website is from Ubud Village Resort which is located further out of Monkey Forest Road. However, the location is great. The hotel is surrounded by nice cafes and there are plenty of shops nearby. Ubud Market is just a walking distance. The hotel is ran down, wall and pond are covered by green mould, quite old hotel. If you just need a place to rest and sleep, this hotel will do because it is a peaceful place. "

"The Hotel was friendly and provided a safe behind the front desk that only can be opened with your key and theres'. You are always greeted by staff cheerily no matter what time of the day or night. we were sick and they accommodated completely and even bought breakfast to the room. Everything was cleaned daily perfectly. Absolutley a dream to stay here and would do it again in a heartbeat."

"We spent 4 nights in Ubud Village Hotel. Our stay has been really enjoyable. The location is great, in the center of Ubud. All you need is really close. Maybe one negative point : the breakfast is quite boring... But you have many places around where you can have an excellent breakfast instead !"

"Good overall experience at this hotel, good location, nice place, very relax, and very quiet.... i just met an horrible 'Ms NO' at the reception who systematiccaly refused all the service i asked ( one extra night with same price than internet, 1 more hour before check out), but exept that, very good"

"Very nice landscaping and beautiful rooms. In the center of Ubud and still very isolated and green. Pamper yourself with the Super Deluxe rooms, at least one night! It's worth it."
