"This lodge is somewhat of a paradox. It lies within 15 minutes of south Bali's airport and most crowded beaches but is set on beautiful grounds and is very quiet. If birdwatching and butterfly observation is your passion, you would probably be quite happy with the location. On the other hand, the lodge itself doesn't really do justice to the setting. In an island filled with beautiful, romantic hideaways with lovely Balinese touches, it is somewhat of a traditional concrete lodge, with relatively little privacy between somewhat rustic rooms. Service is reasonable, but not outstanding, as are rates. There is little within walking distance, but taxis are moderate and easily available."

"This is a great place to stay. The Udayana lodge has everything .... good food, comfortable rooms, tranquil setting, swimming pool, friendly hosts, internet. I was even invited to play cricket with the local team. Tucked away on the rise at the south end of Jimbaran Bay. I'll be back !!"

"The hotel itself is beautiful, and is constructed and run in such a way that you cannot fail to come away without feeling totally relaxed and pampered. The quality of the service is of the absolute highest standard. The meal we had in the hotel restaurant rates among the best meals out we have had. I will be recommending this hotel to all of my friends going to Bali, and probably to those who aren't as well."

"I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and restful stay in Bali.Friendly and available staff. Everybody was very nice with our 1-year-old baby, who was treated like a princess. We will definitely return as soon as possible!"
