| "A clean hotel, not too centrally situated along a very bussy road.
Although most friendly and helpfull, some of the service people do speak little english.
The breakfast place is way too small for a hotel at full occupation and using the adjacent ball room is not a very plesant alternative. Hot items at the breakfast were most of the time cold ! Only flavoured "orange juice" on the buffet. Why shall non-smokers eat in a kind of salon rather than on tables ?
Lobby Lounge bar had a very kind and ready-to-serve team !
The hotel is not bad at all. " |

| "I had actually mistaken this hotel for the Grand Preangen hotel that I believe is located right smack in the shopping area of jln Juanda-Dago.The hotel is about 20min away from the town & main shopping areas e.g. Jln Riau, Dago, etc. Need to get a taxi everytime & my advice is to ensure you negotiate the price before you get in the taxi. This is because I get charged 25,000 rupiah when I do nego but when I don't, I get slapped at least 50,000 rupiah on my way back to the hotel. Otherwise, the service is excellent but don't expect body lotions, or a phone in the bathroom, even though it looked like the wall used to carry one..
This hotel do not arrange for any organized tours except for a 6hrly kind of chauffered transport(hrs vary). I took a 6-hr one that took me all the way to Tangkuban Prahu(volcanic area)and Ciater(hot springs resort)that includes a 3km hike down to the bubbling mud pools. If you skip the hike, you'd probably take less hrs to complete but you'd probably miss the best part of the tour - be fit though. If you exceed the 6 hrs, charges are extra by the hr.(can't remember).
Also, forget trying to use the internet in the Business center because it uses dial-up. Good if you bring your own laptop computer cos' they provide prepaid access cards.
Good thing if you have early flights home cos' the airport is very close by so you don't have to check out too early." |

| "A great hotel with an outstanding Chinese restaurant. Staff were fantastic and most helpful given that our booking thru the agent was not accurate. Gardens were manicured to perfection. Although a little out of the city centre, a taxi ride was only about $3-4 AUD to the hub of the city. Highly recommend you sample the chinese food. Waiting staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Good value for money." |
