| "Our party of 4 checked into 2 rooms on the 20/2/07 and checked out on the 24/2/07. We found the rooms full of cockroaches and their babies! They were even in the fridge, which wasn't working too well. The bed light kept blowing, and we even woke up one morning to find that the lights did not work in the whole room.
The bathroom was not very clean, and the shower pipe was leaking. The hot water came in spurts of very hot and suddenly very cold, which left us shivering in the cold.
The food in the coffee houwe was rather horrible. being extremely oily, tiny amounts and rather pricey.The rooms were definately not worth the money.
However, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Another plus is the revolving restaurant (same coffee house that provides the food) which has a wonderfully delightful 3 man band which played a medley of oldies.
Word of warning! Keep a copy of your internet booked invoice, as when I tried to check out at 6.30 am on departure day, the reception person asked me to pay! Apparently the invoice was not there, and he had to ring the person who checked me in (off duty) to locate it. Even then when he had the invoice, he said it was just an invoice, and not a receipt! It was after another few calls before he let me go! This is with me being able to talk Bahasa Indonesia!" |
