"Overall a nice place to stay and way better than staying at the main resort building. Make sure to get a cabin with SeaView, the other ones in the back don't really have a view and there is a road behind it. Sometimes a lot of noise from little cars and busses going around the resort, not really a ZEN atmosphere. The Spice restaurant is very unattractive but the Thai restaurant a little further is really nice and good food. The chairs on the beach are very unconvenient (only flat) and very limited so you'll have to fight for them. If you don't mind the little walk, the pool is a little further down towards the main resort. There is a small animal park along the way. "

"Mayang Sari is a peaceful gateaway with less for couple or just single trying to get away from the usual busy life. We didnt manage to get the sea view chalet this time round and we really hope to get it the next. The resort is not so crowded, just steps away to the spa and beautiful beach which is clean and clear. We look forward to returing for a weekend get-away again..."

"This hotel has potential but unfortunately the rooms are quite basic and if you stay on a saturday night there is loud music that can be heard ALL OVER the resort including inside EVERY room until 2-3am!! We contacted reception and they apologised for the disturbance but said it was from La Luna bar across the water and little could be done but they said it would stop by about 2am(as if that was early!) The music was so loud with so much bass it actually woke us up when it started at about 9-10pm(we have young children so we went to bed early). On the last day, there was no water in the rooms at all and it was not resolved by the time we left at 2pm hence no showers were available for us after the beach! I wouldnt recommend this resort for those looking for rest and relaxation."

"Fortunately, we got good rates via Asiarooms web because the normal direst rates are far from value. Normal rate should not be more than about US$100 per room per day with breakfast. Note: do not hesitate to go to have breakfast to the nearby Nirwana Gardens main Resort.(10 mn walk or even by shutle)"

"As er all the reviews: great location, wonderfull beach, room perfect, but bathroom unacceptable. Restaurants OK if you go to places around like Nirwana Gardens Resort (same premises). For 50 chalets, then 100 guests, there were only 5 transat seats and 5 hamaca. No more than 8 umbrellas, how is that possible...."

"Mayang Sari is a good resort. The cabanas are spacious and clean. The beach is very nice, although the water quality is sometimes not ideal. Many watersports are available, but expensive. The resort is quiet, and staff is very friendly. Overall Mayang Sari is very good for spending a few days to relax. For a longer stay it could get boring."

"We had an absolutely amazing time at the resort! Probably some of the friendliest people I have ever met! To be able to go back and forth to all the other resorts was very convenient as well. We had some wonderful meals and all the different restaurants available! The only thing that made us a bit sad was the amount of rubbish that washed up on the beach each day! Along with the tar! Not necessarily the resorts fault as the waters are very busy and the tide brings a lot of unwanted garbage! We picked up what we could when we went for walks! Some were broken glass bottles half buried where children were playing! We felt we needed to! :( HOWEVER, on a positive note, after we made the suggestion that maybe someone could sweep the beach each morning/afternoon, we had an email THANKING us for our concern and suggestion and informed us that they will now have someone looking after the rubbish on the beach! Wonderful people, wonderful service and a beautiful beach to enjoy everyday! You couldn't ask for anything more on a holiday! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to your resort! Yours truly, Meaghan Fisher"
