| "I am 29 years old male, i have been in this hotel from 16 Sep. 2007 to 20 Sep. 2007.
My room was in the 14th floor (excutive room - Double bed). The hotel itself is very clean and modern. The location of the hotel is more than acceptable however, there are some old workshopes around it. The hotel is very close to the main road and railway station is 10 minutes far by car, taxies are available all the time.

| "My experience at the Alila in Jakarta Indonesia has been very disappointing. Do not be fooled by what is being advertised over the internet. Their minimalistic theme simply does live up to its name without any quality to it. The worst are the beds. They sink in and you wake up with a terrible backache. I had change rooms twice but I was left with the same situation. I slept terribly and I couldn't wait to check out the next morning. The place is wearing out and needs renovation and attention to new fittings. If you were on a budget and you don't really care where you stay, the Alila is the place for you." |

| "Fantastic atmosphere, room size, sober and pleasant decor, beautiful pool, wonderful breakfast, very friendly staff.
My only complaint would be the "women's floor" we were transferred to on our second stay, which did not have Internet service (suggesting women don't work in Indonesia.)

| "Clean new hotel with comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff and even 1 does speak French. Western Restaurant is very good and Breakfast buffet is excellent. I ordered dinner to room twice and food was as good as in restaurant. The swimpool is small and there is no garden. Reasonnable Internet rates in room. Some problems at this hotel are, the AC is really too cold, there is no entertainment, No club, no bar, really boring hotel if you don't go out by Taxi and the general ambiance is "cold", modern decoration not "cozy" at all. In fact, this hotel is a good value for business travellers, but not romantic for couple." |

| "Nice clean hotel with very friendly staff.
Rooms are clean and complete with amenities
except iron & ironing board. Restaurants are
very good with excellent quality. Breakfast
buffet is excellent. Business center is easy
to use and reasonable internet rates. The only
problem at this hotel is that there is no
entertainment. No nightclub so you must go out
meaning taxis or transportation elsewhere. This
can be a boring hotel if you stay for a week or
two without wanting to go out. A nightclub on
the second floor would be a nice addition. " |

| "We spent 2 nights in executive suite, but can imagine that standard room is (exept size) also perfect. The room was new, clean, well designed. Good food in restaurant (we ordered dinner to room twice), good pool, nice view if you are on high floor. Good location - national monument in 1,5 km. Modern and very clean hotel!" |

| "I do stay very often at alila and i am as always very happy by any means. staff, service, rooms and the quality of food is very good. the restaurant shanghai storm serves value for money traditional chinese food. the whole hotel is pretty easy going. its not the hyatt for sure, but indeed a relaxed place to hang out with everything you might need at a very good rate." |
