| "The positive points about the hotel are as follow:
1) Location is convenient
2) Rooms are big
3) Great selection for breakfast
4) Big gym area
5) Shopping mall beside the hotel
6) Pool of taxis waiting outside the hotel
The not too good points about the hotel are:
1) The path between the hotel and the shopping mall though is only 5mins away, is always packed with all sorts of people and it's rather dark.
2) The water in the swimming pool looks dirty.
3) Web request for non-smoking room was not available during check-in. However, overheard the counter staff asking another customer checking in @ the same time beside me if he wants a smoking or non-smoking room. Not too pleased with that.
4) Internet usgae in room is not cheap." |

| "Platial lobby, great, clean rooms, with three wonderful resutants on site. The service is cordial and very accomodating. They held one luggage for me and delivered it to the airport one week later as I was leaving Jakarta. The only problem is the location of this hotel. I like a place near busy markets and lots of people. But again there may be very few places in Jakarta with those descriptions. I found out that most of the cometitors of Crown Plaza (that I had considred) also are located on busy highways from where you can't walk to anything intereting. " |

| "The staff was super friendly.
The hotel is a bit old and could do with a little upgrade. Having said that, it's not bad for the price on offer.

| "If booking over the internet (especially with Asia Rooms) then this hotel is good value. However if trying to book at the hotel itself, prices are inflated and really totally unacceptable. Unfortunately this is similar in many hotels.
I would class the Hotel as a low level 4*, targeted primarily at business people. Facilities are reasonable both in the standard rooms and in the hotel itself.
In the breakfast restuarant service can be slow, depending on what time you hit it!!! " |

| "Good value for money when booked on the internet. The difference between booking direct and on the internet is almost double for direct booking which is scandalous if wanting to book extra days while there.
Over all facilities good, reasonable standard for a 4* hotel in Indonesia. There is no way it is approaching a 5*.
Location OK within Jakarta for shopping and getting around.
Not geared for tourists.

| "The hotel is fairly huge, the room that I had was very dated, and the room makes quite a bit of funny noise from the fridge and aircon. The water pot, meant for cooking water, was extremely rusty - and that really turns me off, as I like to have a hot cup of coffee in the room, and some warm water at night.
The bed is not comfortable, and the bed cover is fairly dirty. The bathroom amenities is okay, not the crabtree stuffs.
The breakfast spread is fairly large, but almost nothing is edible; either too salty as in the fried noodles or too sweet as in the other dishes. Ended up eating only the fruits and some cereals with milk.

| "This hotel is a good 4/5. I stayed on the 11th floor (non smoking)with sweeping views over Jakarta. The room was large and very comfortable - a wonderful afternoon retreat from the pollution and noise of Jakarta. There is a shopping plaza right next door and only a short trip by taxi to Blok M and a number of other good shopping complexes. The Busway transport system is a relatively short walk away. The hotel has a number of places to eat. The breakfast buffet is great with very good coffee on demand. A dinner buffet is outstanding with a wonderful selection and very reasonable - about AUD$15. Good pool and exericise facilities. All staff are very helpful and courteous. A very good base for those on business and travellers who like that little extra comfort in their accommodation. Certainly not expensive as compared with western equivalents. " |
