"We stayed 2 nights with our 2 teenage children. The location is actually perfect for us because our relatives and friends live nearby. Mall Ambasadors is the place where we ate everyday cause that's the nearest mall from the hotel. Breakfast is outstanding and the pool with jacuzi is very nice. Con is that the hotel staff uses the lockers of the pools restroom for their own belongings. It is inconvenient. the rest are fine. The atmosphere of the hotel is nice and free."

"The Park Lane is a very nice hotel with good service. We enjoyed our stay very much. The bathrooms are very large and luxurious. Our only complaint is that the hours in which housekeeping will make up the room our limited. So after sleeping in because of severe jet lag, we were never able to have our room made up. However, this is a very nice, luxury hotel, with great service and amenities which I would recommend to travelers."

"Location is not ideal, as it is some distance from shopping, ATM, evening entertainment. Rooms are excellent. There was an excellent live band, which made it unneccesary to seek outside entertainment every night. There was also an excellent French restaurant as an alternative choice of eating, but it was prohibitively expensive. Overall, the hotel has many good facilities including internet access, it represents value for money and makes for an enjoyable stay."

"It is located just outside the center core of Jakarta. The view is that of downtown in the distance (about 1.5 miles) and two cemeteries by the side. Security is good and very tight inside the hotel compound, but I would not walk outside it. Going anywhere requires a taxi ride on a reliable Blue Bird taxi. The restaurants inside the compound are very expensive, and may be worthwhile taking a taxi outside and have similar meals at half to one tenth the price."

"The best bargain in Jakarta as of June 2008. decent bar and restaurants. Spa. reasonable internet upcharge. nothing in the neighborhood, but good business location. no problem bringing 'guests' to you room."

"Park Lane is a very nice hotel and is certainly good value. Staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are in good condition (although my shower water wasn't very hot). Breakfast is quite good. The big problem for the Park Lane is its location, which is quite a long way away from just about everything. Combine this with the traffic in Jalan Casablanca which is bumper to bumper from dawn until after 8pm, and getting places is a real hassle, even by Jakarta standards. I would stay here again if I just needed a place to stay for a couple of days, but if I needed to business in Jakarta, I would probably try somewhere else that wasn't so hard to get in and out of. Closest shopping to The Park Lane is the Ambassador Mall (about 15 minutes on a good day by taxi), which I only discovered on my last day but is much better that some of the flashier shoppng centres like Plaza Indonesia."
