Loved it! Beautiful beach, lovely staff, decent restaurant. It's a fairly big place, so doesn't have the charm of some of the smaller hotels, but we really enjoyed our time there nevertheless.

| "A spot to recommend even it looks like a ghetto for fortunated tourists (prices in the restaurant were overrated !)." |

| "Excellent place - if you don't look for a party zone. It's quiet, but that's what we want sometimes, right?
I highly recommend the beach villa - it's very romantic. The Pool villas are nice and you have absolute privacy, but the pool is too small and too cold for some people to be really a must.
If you go as a couple and you stay in a beach villa go for the romantic dinner - that's really nice and good value for money as well.

| "We stayed in a deluxe terrace room for 5 day. The room was very nice, spacious and clean. We have a 3 month old baby and thought with a terrace would be good. It was good because all other rooms are upstairs so not suitable for a pusher. The whole hotel is not pusher friendly. A lot of stairs and sand. It looks very nice so but not when you have to push your baby around. The food was delicious. Just one restaurant was open but for 5 days enough food to choose from the menu and buffet. The Hotel is very isolated, nothing around. The beach is clean and huge. The bar had good selection of drinks and good view on the beach. The service was great, friendly. The Spa was wonderful, price was ok not too expensive. We would go again when our son is a bit older. " |

| "i stayed 11 nights in june 2008 at novotel lombok. everybody told me it would be too long and it was too short. the hotel is like a sasak village. the result is very nice, with a lot of tasty details everywhere. i like the ambiance very much. i had a standart room wich works with me. wood everywhere, nice decoration, a little dark in my part, but my friends had a room in the third level with much more light and "lagoon view". i like the way they organize the bathroom, very simple separate shower on the left side, lavabotery in the midle, and toilets on the right side. not too much space to put clothes for a couple. the choice of tv channels is very poor, maybe for this standart of hotel they can pay the full pakage of cable. the room is very clean and the service is very good. i have to say the breakfast buffet is fantastic. very good choice and good quality. you have a "a la demande corner" for eggs, fresh waffles, pancakes and "crepes". we tryed the buufet for diner for 200 000 rp net it's not cheap in regards of indonesian prices but the food are really good with plenty of everything.
the beach is nice very well organized with sun chairs an a lot of space. the beach team is really nice. the room is not really expensive but everything is overpriced in the hotel. bar, most expensive and slow internet of the world.in fact the do their best to keep you in the hotel. i advice you to rent o motorbike in front of the hotel, don't try to bargain the prices are fixes, you have the most amazing beaches of the world in the area. you can easely find a place to eat in the kuta aera but don't expect too much. lombok is really an amazing and magis place to go before it's too late. there are so many things to do. people are very friendly. just respect them. of course they come to see you when you are on the beach to sell you something. it's just "good luk". be nice and try to make every body work." |

| "The Novotel Lombok is a 4-star hotel with 3-star service. The facilities are quite nice. I especially liked the beach/ocean views from both the restaurant and bar. However, there is no real fitness center, despite what the specs say. There is just an outdoor work-out area, which includes a pull-up bar and basic weights, that the hotel calls a "traditional gym." Although the staff was indeed friendly, the service was oftentimes very slow (at the bar, restaurant, and even the spa). Management presence seemed rare or absent. Also, the restaurant was inconsitent food-wise. Sometimes it was spot-on, while other times it was completely off. However, there aren't too many nice options outside the resort - just mainly very basic options at the nearby Kuta or Gerupuk villages. Our standard room was neat and clean but was quite small and dark (and slightly musty as well, especially on humid days). The bathroom was small as well, with only a standing shower and no tub. So for more space and light, upgrade to a villa if your budget allows." |
