Great value for money.
The "Beach Chalet/Cottage" rooms are not all on the actual beach. We couldn't see the water from any of the 3 we had booked between our family and friends. Having said that, the rooms are very nice. Pool is on the side of the resort that gets all the wind, so was often cool / cold - yet our Chalet's were on the other side and it was still and hot, so we were overheating by the time we got to the pool, but it was too cool to stay in for long.
The bar with the swinging chairs (near the water) is fantastic! Great to spend a few afternoons there watching the sun go down.
English Manager is friendly and nice. All the staff were very friendly. Excellent breakfast and Italian restaurants (we didn't eat in any of the other restaurants/bars). Many happy hour's that run back to back, so you can make good use of the hotel facilities. Kids club was fairly good for kids, but would consider carefully any really young kids (under 2) as it didn't appear to be completely geared towards babies.
Overall - we would definitely stay here again. Great staff, big hotel, good rooms, good facilities.

| "The rooms are large enough and the balcony with the sea view is a nice place to chill out. The hotel grounds are spacious and relaxing with plenty of swaying coconut trees to give you that relaxing atmosphere. The Mandara Spa is rather affordable at ard USD$36. Its rather near the main strip of restaurants which isnt much compared to Kuta in Bali. Do bring a touchlight as power outages are common and may leave you in complete darkness for a couple of minutes. Look for Cafe Tenda (Cak Poer) just beyond Santosa Hotel for cheap and good roadside grill." |
