| "Thank you for all your assistance with our stay at the Grand Angkasa in Medan. The entire process was seemless, and we were very pleased with your service, and that of the Grand Angkasa. Our flight from Banda was 4 hours late, and I was so relieved to see the Grand Angkasa representative holding a sign with my name on it at the entrance to the Medan Airport arrival hall. We only wish we could have stayed longer. I will use your service again, and recommend it to others.

| "A great hotel, shame about the location.
I can not fault the hotel, the room was large, clean and comfortable. The same with the bathroom.
The TV had a good choice of channels to view.
However, the location of the hotel isn't as central to the shops/facilities as I was led to believe by their website.
The roads outside of the hotels were packed and noisy - the noise doesn't make it into the rooms. However they are hard to cross and the pavements around the hotel are poor at best, non-existant at worse. I wouldn't recommend walking around in the dark as you are likely to fall down gaps in the pavements or trip over things.
A KFC is just across the road from the hotel.
If I found myself in Medan again, I would stay at this hotel because it is worthy of 5 stars, but don't expect to be in the centre of things." |

| "I have been stay in this hotel last time (3 days 2 night)with my friend, but they give us diferent price with same type of room. Means i pay for Superior room rate but i get standard room, and my friend get the same thing also.....so ....i think last time may be is no faer to us...the thirtday we check out and stay at other hotel. " |

| "I can't think of anything to complain about with this hotel. It's probably the nicest hotel in Medan, with good service, nice rooms, and (this is important to tall people who spend a lot of time in hotels) the tallest showerheads in Asia.
If street noise bothers you, stay away from the corner rooms closest to the intersection in front of the hotel. They get a lot of noise from traffic." |
