"We like the hotel, convenience as it was close to the city and all, but since this hotel is quite an old hotel so the furniture, well basically the hotel needs to be renovated.. overall nice experience"

"Don't expect too much of the Inna Muara hotel. Its is rather cheap and rooms are comfortable. The restaurant is not so good, but it is easy to go into town. We just spend one night with the family in 2 rooms. They don't have connecting doors in a room. "

"Quite a nice hotel which value worth.. Only things is we were very sure that we have left behind an alarm clock when we check out the hotel and when we came back to check with the hotel 3 days later, we were told that they have not seen the item.."

"I stayed in Padang and also took a day trip to the hill resort of Bukit Tinggi which is about 2.5 hours away. I find the weather in both places too hot for me despite coming from a country within the same weather belt. It is very uncomfortable. Malaysia is more forgiving. Maybe because I stay away from the coast. I should schedule future stays during the cooler months. The people however are very friendly. The hotel is comfirtable and value for money. However since I was there during the non peak season there were not much activity. "
