| "as a art deco fan, majapahit was one of my 2 targets in indonesia with hotel savoy in bandung.
i have to say majapahit is a masterpiece. the hotel is uniq and this is a destination in itself. the hotes is in perfect shape.the feeling is amazing. i was upgradded to a garden room, in the first garden wich is not in my opinion the best part of the hotel. the room is in two parts. a little "salon" with a sofa and the tv. best choice of tv channel i had in indonesia inclundin al jazeera, allmart channel, hbo, conemax, starmovie, axm, straworld etc. problem this is difficult to see the tv from your bed. the bed room is really nice, a little dark, with hudge bed, and antiqs furnitures. great bathroom. the gardens are wonderfull and you visit the hotel like a castle. big pool with very confortable sunbeds. nice gymm with everything you want and amazing spa.
i have to say i didn't like the breakfast. good service, lot of choice but it looks much more like the evening before diner than breakfast. if you want to relax before a sun destination this the perfect place to stay. this is not luxury, this just good old taste. this is not a place for the "four saesons" or "hilton" fan." |

| "only free internet given to those book direct from hotel. For those who booked through Asia Rooms will not enjoy free internet. Breakfast was so so. The room comes with one bed room and one living room. Very comfortable. " |

| "This hotel is indeed absolutely perfect. Having been a mystery shopper for several major organizations I really couldn't find any fault at this hotel.
I felt like some colonial landlord in this place,it really has a beautiful historic atmosphere.
I lived in Indonesia for 11 years and this hotel was an outstanding surprise for us.
We'll certainly stay here again" |

| "Good place to stay for business but e-mail rates have to be hourly. Like if you stay a few days for business the e-mail rates should base on the usage like customer book for 1 day = 24 hours, when log out the time should stop and when log in the timing start again because as a businessman we does not use the whole day.

| "We stayed here at the end of our 4 months in Asia. Without doubt the best hotel we stayed in (and we stayed in a few 5 star). If you're going to Surabaya then this hotel is a must.
The hotel is atmospheric, and the rooms and service are excellent. It's a pleasure just to look at the hotel and the courtyards inside. Beautiful buildings like the Hotel Majapahit are in short supply in Surabaya. Also, don't judge the book by it's cover, you have to go inside to appreciate the architecture fully.
There is a massive mall across the road with lots of restaurants, encase you get sick of the hotel food, which is also excellent." |
