The Zanhotel Il Canale is located in the center of medieval city, near the "Two Tower" and opposite to the Aposa. This is a natural stream that was traditionally used as a source of drinking water and once filled the moat that flanked the walls. Today it is enclosed in an underground tunnel that crosses the city. Only short above-ground tracts, such as the suggestive one next to the hotel, still remain.
