| "The building of Domus Mariae was fabulous and courtyard outside the hotel was very peaceful for an evening sit-out or stroll. The hotel is in a very historic building and was great. But I found the rooms a bit small compared to other four star hotels. The room facilities were not that convenient though not bad. For eg. it did not have a proper table if you wanted to write or browse the Internet. Breakfast was good and staff friendly, very close to all historic locations and metro station for quick access." |

| "The bulding is marvelous, the scenery around the hotel is very nice. Perhaps the hotel needs to add a boiling water machine or a jug of hot water in the room, so that guests can make their hot tea or coffee more conveniently." |

| "Hotel is quite nice from the outside but the rooms dcould be a little better. Location is far away from most attractions but easily reached by the nearby Cornelia metro station. It is actually more of a conference hotel so don't expect much facilities (we couldn't even get any ironing facilities). Breakfast is pretty decent. There is a nearby local restaurant called Joseph which was very good and cheap (no cover and service charge). Ask the hotel staff for directions. There's also a big supermarket next to the hotel. Basically, a nice self sufficient location if you wanna be away from the crowded areas, however price doesn't seem to match the distance away from the main area." |

| "the hotel lived up to everything that it advertises! it such a beautiful hotel, staff are fantastic and we enjoyed our entire stay! also online there are many more photos of the hotel which you can find by simply searching the hotel - they all lived up to our expectation. the name of the hotel, Grand Hotel Palazzo Carpegna - definitly sums up what it is, a Palace!
i totally recommend this hotel to any one who wants to visit the fantastic city that is Roma! xxx" |
