Akita Washington was a great hotel with friendly service and neat clean rooms. The rooms are typical Japanese rooms so small. Facilities were good. Internet was accessible for 100Yen for 10 minutes in the lobby. It is a 15 minute walk from the train station (JR Akita) so if I travelled there again I would get one closer to the station. But if you don't mind a bit of a walk, Akita Washington would be great place to stay.
