The hotel is nice, toiletries are wonderful using Ferragamo. The buffet breakfast is not so tempting so I go for the Japanese one. The only thing I don't like about the hotel is we have to pay for fitness center.

| "I loved staying at the Nikko in Fukuoka. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and most of them spoke English. The food was absolutely delicious, and the free breakfast was an awesome all-you-can-eat buffet. The only complaint I have concerns the extra charges you must pay to access the pool and gym. But if you can afford it, it's more than luxurious. The pool was the perfect temperature, the jacuzzi was intensely relaxing, and the sauna featured two bathing pools, one heated very hot and one kept ice-cold. Also, the women's locker room provided you with all the skin and hair care products you could possibly want for free.
My room was a standard single, which I thought would be small like all the other single rooms in Japan, but I was pleasantly surprised. While it was fairly small, the set-up of the furniture made it seem spacious. I was very, very comfortable.
My stay on the whole was greatly relaxing and extremely pleasant. I recommend the Nikko Fukuoka hotel to anyone who doesn't mind paying a little extra for a quality experience." |

| "This hotel has many outstanding features, but the most important for me were the proximity to the main subway station in Fukuoka and the comfort of the room. It was luxurious after the small size of the room I had in Osaka.
Although there is no business centre at this hotel with access to the internet, Kinkos is less than a block away and internet access (in English) is easy and inexpensive from there.
The hotel has a baggage delivery service (50 yen, I think) to the airport. Bags arrive at 4 p.m. so late afternoon and evening travellers can send their bags to the airport and take the metro unencumbered. I enjoyed my stay. " |
