I stayed here one night after a flight from Australia, although the room was small (which I expected) it was spotless and was a mere 10 minutes in a taxi from the airport, as well as a 10 minute walk from the JR station. The included breakfast was great, with the Japanese style fish, rice, miso soup etc, but there was a western alternative of cereal and toast, coffee etc, all in a buffet style.
I was very pleased with my experience and would consider this hotel again when I return to Fukuoka.

| "No complaints on cleanliess, location and service. However, the size of the room is too small to be desired for family use - I travelled with my wife and a toddler. This place is however ok for single use or transit as the price is cheap relative to the other hotel that I tried subsequently.
I paid 2x Toyo price for a 5 star hotel in Hakata area with better furnishing and with about 2.5x Toyo's room size, for another 2 nites. Personally I felt the latter is of better value as I preferred bigger room size for longer stay. " |

| "The rooms are very small, but most are in Japan anyway. But for the price it's a nice hotel. Clean, has everything you want, is in an excellent location 2 minutes down the road from Hakata station, with plenty of taxis on the road outside. The breakfast is also quite nice." |
