| "My wife and I stayed there in October 2008. The hotel is in a good location to the Shinkansen station and the trams, buses to Peace Park and downtown Hiroshima etc. Excellent service from the hotel staff. English language, mixed with our "tourist Japanese" was no problem and of course the room was normal Japanese style. As tourists the size of room didnt concern us at all.
Good value for your money." |

| "This is an ok hotel in a very good location - 3 mins walk from Hiroshima train station.
Rooms were clean and breakfast was ok.
My only complaint is the hotel was a little over priced for a 3 star - I guess you pay for location.
The free internet in the lobby was a nice touch and useful to use to check emails for a couple of mins at the end of a long days sight seeing.
Overall an ok, clean hotel in a very good location. " |

| "The room is very small and the bed is pretty spare. We are talking the most basic of hotel rooms. To give it credit, though, it's definitely not a hostel. There really wasn't much that was impressive about the hotel but if the price is right and you just want to stay somewhere a night, it's fine. It's close to the train station if that is what you are looking for. The Japanese breakfast buffet was also decent." |

| "The hotel is only a short walk from the station.
The room was smallish but still OK.
The buffet breakfast was OK. Plenty of Japanese style food but a little light on the western style.
Location was pretty central.
The bar downstairs is a good place to go for a drink." |

| "This hotel is fairly close (15 mins walk) to the railway & tram stations. The room was a bit small for a group of three, however the bathroom and wash basin was OK. We stayed here for one night which was very convenient and suited to our needs. Not sure what other hotels in the area would charge but for one night the price was right. We enjoyed our stay here.

| "New Hiroden Hotel is about 3 blocks from the JR Hiroshima train station. The hotel and room were nicer than other Japanese accommodations at which we've stayed. Some of the floors are non-smoking which was a big bonus as many Japanese hotels don't cater to non-smokers and the smell can permeate. The hotel is within walking distance to Shukkeien Garden. The Peace Park is a little too far to walk from the hotel, but it'a quick walk to the train station where one can catch a cable car to the Atomic Dome." |

| "We liked this hotel as probably the best value of our Japan holiday. Good location close to JR Station, friendly helpful staff, nice breakfast (included in price)and the free internet and computer was very handy.
Perhaps the Hollywood twin beds was the only negative." |
