| "The hotel was very good. It was a bit out of the way and difficult to find but ok once we had found our way. Noone told us about the courtesy bus to subway and we only found out the day we were due to leave.
For some reason there are no visible landmarks so it is difficult to find and all the streets look the same.
Breakfast was very expensive and inflexible. There were only fixed price options, the full buffet was too much in the way of food and the continental was not good value for money and you could not help yourself.
Overall we really liked the actual hotel but we found the service and prices not as good as the hotel itself. " |

| "The Brighton is perfectly situated for sightseers and guests seeking relaxing pastimes in elegant surroundings. One will be amazed with its beautiful atrium lobby, decorated with water and greeneries, and first class cuisines. The room was really clean and spacious. The bed was really comfy. I do not hesitate to recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. It was a value place to stay in Kyoto. " |
