| "I was happy with the New Miyako except for one thing. My room had been a smoking room. I was not given the choice of a non-smoking room and had to air the room when I first arrived.
I think I should have had the choice of a non-smoking room for the price. I think $AUD 140 is quite a lot to pay when the room is not satisfactory.
It is a very busy hotel so I would not recommend it for business travellers or people who want a romantic holiday. It has a lot of tour groups.

| "Hotel is in a good location. Rooms for Japan are a good size. Room was decent and in good condition but could do with some modernising. Breakfast was good enough. It seems to be a hotel aimed at package tours but there was some business types there as well. All in all, a good hotel." |
