The hotel staff at the Rhino Hotel are very curtious, friendly and helpful. There are bus route maps in English at the Hotel Front Desk and although the staff do not speak very much English, they will try to answer your questions.
The room was modern and clean. The hotel is close to a main bus stop and tube station which enabled us to travel to the varies temples and shrines in Kyoto. The Hotel is 20 minutes from Kyoto Train Station by bus or 10 mins by taxi.
