| "BEAUTIFUL HOTEL AND VERY FRIENDLY STAFF. THE JR STATION SHUTTLE BUS WAS A GREAT HELP.
OUR ONLY COMPLAINTS WERE THAT CAFE, RESTAURANT & BAR PRICES WERE VERY HIGH. ALSO THE POOL WAS VERY REGIMENTED." |

| "The staff was so friendly and that is really important to me. Service was excellent. I especially loved the dragon exhibit. That was great. I always felt relaxed and able to be myself. Breakfast buffets were pretty good. The hotel is very conveniently located and the shuttle service is great.
I was horrified to be charged 700 yen for a cup of coffee in the coffee shop and not even offered a refill. That was totally uncalled for. I loved many aspect of the Rihga Royal however I was miffed as to why the carpets were stained in places especially in the lobby." |

| "As a budget traveller in a group of 3 people, the room size was perfect for our stay. The hotel is very well situated and the 5 mins ride on the complimentary shuttle bus (runs every 15 mins)between the hotel and the railway station is a big bonus. The hotel is also serviced by three beautiful restaurants and a cake & coffee bar. We were on a one week tour of Japan and we stayed at this hotel for 3 days and used it as our base to explore Kyoto and the neighbouring areas such as Osaka, Nara & Inari. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here .
