| "Hotel was acceptable - decor very dated and, for Japan, shabby in comparison to other budget hotels we stayed in. Room size good - bathroom ok if a little dated. Staff very pleasant. On main tram line from central railway station. Very short walk from Dutch Slopes and on to Glover Gardens. Not many local amenities such as convenience stores or restaurants." |

| "Great hotel for the price. Most suitably for business and budget travelers.
The staff was very courteous and professional.
The rooms may be a little outdated and "dingy" - yes, but for the price, it's acceptable(could be why the cost is lower). The single is small, but there is maneuverability unlike some other singles I have experienced. The bathroom is the standard module kind.
Breakfast is the typical buffet you will find in general Japan hotels, nothing exotic.
High speed internet is available. TV is the typical Japanese programming.
The only issue was an extremely firm mattress. A little too firm for me. Not something you may want to deal with if your stay is longer than a few days." |

| "The best thing about this hotel was its location, right opposite the harbour and close to the Hollander slope and China Town. However the rooms were fairly old and dingy and in need of an upgrade. We only had breakfast there once because the buffet was very poor. The staff were friendly and always greeted us with a smile, but this was not enough to make us want to stay there again." |
