"A pleasant hotel very conveniently located to a central train / sub-way station. Polite and responsive management services. The hotel seems to be set up more for mid-level business accommodation and local Japanese tour groups."

"I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay in Cypress Garden Hotel though the room was smaller than I expected. The location was excellent, just a couple of minutes from Kanayama Station. Will stay there again if I visit Nagoya. If you require internet access during your stay, you should request for it when you make the reservation. However internet cafes are also conveniently located within 10 mins' walk of the hotel."

"Nice, calm location near a transit hub, decent rooms, and a solid buffet breakfast. Make sure to memorize the Katakana for "Cypress Garden" as the English name is not visible from a distance."

"Good location. Not in the city center, but close enough so that taking the subway or a taxi is not too time-consuming. The area around the hotel is quite nice - lots of restaurants, Starbuck's Coffee, and a subway station 2 minute's walk away."
