| "I enjoyed my stay here very much. The only thing is after staying here first, we kept comparing our other hotels in other parts of Japan with this and they all came up short!
The service was great, because I was driving and had just arrived in Nagoya and unfamiliar with the GPS in the car, they took time to patiently help me key in my destination.
The room was so much bigger than the one we stayed in Tokyo and the great thing was they have a baby cot for the baby. The bathroom was very big when compared to the other Jpanaese hotels.
It is a boutique hotel so I suppose there are not much facilities but we walked out for our meals and it is pretty near the main streets and all that.
Everything was tip top in cleanliness too.
About the only problem we had was because the hotel had a sister hotel or something called Hamilton Annex, well dont be mistaken by the name, because they are not next to each other, rather on different streets on one way streets.
We ended up in Hamilton Annex, but thank goodness, the wonderful chap at the reception could speak both English and mandarin and he got into our car and took us to our hotel! He stayed and translated for us till we settled in. Absolutely wonderful service.
So if are going to drive in Ngaoya and going to stay at the Hamilton, it is very likely, the gps will guide you to the Annex hotel which i heard is also pretty good though it is much smaller.
All in all, a great boutique hotel, wonderful service and definitely value for money. would definitely stay there again." |
