| "Great hotel although expensive. Guests must pay to use the fitness center - that is rather ridiculous. " |

| "The staff were very friendly with places of interest and directions, spoke very good english. Location perfect for train and subway travel, shopping located next building with many restaurants. Only adverse comment was had to pay to use pool facilities. We really enjoyed our stay in Nagoya at the Marriott. " |

| "of all the cities and hotels i have stayed at in japan, nagoya and the associa were the most expensive! some speculate it is because toyota has just moved its headquarters back to nagoya (in fact, the tall building directly next to the associa is the office. great but very expensive restaurants---including a dean & deluca!---inside.)
the hotel is perfect in evey way: truly couldn't be more convenient (right above nagoya station, a shinkansen stop), or more big-hotel elegant. large rooms with amazing night views, large baths with every ammenity, excellent diverse and delicious breakfast buffet, quiet room and comfortable beds led to a great nights sleep. even the in-room massage we ordered was better than average (and a good price).
not good for those on a budget, or even families, but fancy enough for weddings and business affairs. seniors or those with physical handicaps would do well here, too, as everything is very elevator and escalator friendly. the tower that the hotel is in also contains, besides the train station, amazing shopping (takashimaya and tokyu hands) and 3 floors of world-class dining options. we joked that we never needed to leave the building!" |
