"The hotel, while a little way from the main shopping area of Sakae, is literally above the main Meitetsu Station! After flying in to Nagoya and taking the train into town it was good to be able to literally walk out and take the life up to the hotel. I stayed in a single room which, while small, had all facilities, a window that opened, and was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was good, and the very helpful staff had sufficient English to be able to help me. Take the lift down to B1 and you are in a world of food outlets, shops and a supermarket. "

"Comfortable firm bed. Fairly small room typical of Japan city. Very clean and well presented throughout, with excellent helpful attentive staff. Breakfast stated 'continental' but was actually full buffet. Location being part of major Rail/Bus station is excellent for transport. Loved exploring the maze of subway shopping & food arcades. "

"Clean well presented modern hotel. Clean room(double bed) of small size & typical for Japan cities. Firm comfortable bed. Pillows unusual(firm foam one side, beanbag fill other) but ok. Typical prefabricated small ensuite 'unit' was slightly upmarket (& not the smallest/cheapest of this type as we found out later!). Hint: Aircon' worked best when ensuite door ajar -for circulation. Some English spoken. Breakfast limited but certainly sufficient. Would gladly use again."

"My wife and I loved the hotel."

"Great Location. Had 2 triple rooms next to each other. Extra beds made the rooms a little cramped but no big problem. Would definitely stay here again. Easy to get to from airport by train."

"We were very happy with this hotel. We had a triple room (two wide single beds and a pull out couch) and there was plenty of room for our cases. It was great to have BBC world service on the TV. The hotel was in a fantastic location next to Nagoya station, and over local railways. Staff were helpful with good english. Internet was available in the lobby on 2 computers at Y100 for 10 minutes. We never had any trouble finding the computers available, although the smoke in in the lobby could be unbearable. Breakfast was served in a restaurant on the 18th floor, with a great view over Nagoya. The food was fine. If you are going to Nagoya, I suggest a visit to Inuyama (Meiji-Mura architectural museum and Inuyama castle) and don't miss Takayama (2 hours by train but well worth the effort)."

"Entrance to hotel difficult to locate upon exit from train station; required asking for directions in Japanese. Perhaps asking passersby in English would have also worked. Otherwise, could not have asked for more in terms of service, cleanliness, condition of accomodations and food quality. Two thumbs up!!"

"We had two rooms at this hotel from 12-17 October 2007 and again from 20-25 October 2007. In between these dates the hotel graciously stowed our luggage while we were away on a three day trip to Kyushu. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the JR Nagoya Station, the Meitetsu Station (which connects to Nagoya's International Airport at Chubu) and the Kintetsu Station, as well as the Meitetsu Bus Center and the Subway system. The rooms are a good size and are immaculately cleaned. The front desk staff nearly all speak English. Any service requests we made (e.g. for milk, sugar, wine glasses, etc.) were responded to very promptly and at no charge. The hotel sits on top of a 10 floor department store and there is a huge food court area in the basement level, which also connects to the famous labyrinth of underground shopping malls, and to the train stations. Next door to the hotel are other department stores, and across the road from the hotel you will find Dior, Cartier and Louis Vuitton. The buffet breakfast is very good, and the restaurant facilities are first class. We were able to entertain visitors from Tokyo for luncheon at the cafe located on the 18th Floor, with catering by the hotel (plates of sandwiches and cakes and coffee for Y900 per person). I highly recommend this hotel and will be staying there again when I visit Japan next time (in 2008!). "

"Ideal in all respects for a stay in central Nagoya. Excellent buffet breakfast included in panoramic top floor restaurant. Quiet. Clean. Modern. Great value."
