| "Wonderful location. Very clean rooms (we stayed on two different occations here). Short stroll down to lake to see the turtles. Then on past some dear to the eateries area and arcade. Quiet location. Very good included breakfast. Would please any westerner or asian. Some maps on the front desk. Did not get a great chance to challenge the staff with English, but they seemed to be helpfull with what we needed to know. We had free car parking behind hotel. A great view of the 5 story pagoda from a window. Would certainly be going back to this hotel when we ever get a chance. Easy walk to the temple and other locations. Nara is a quiet and a very nice large town." |

| "The location of this hotel is perfect for seeing the major shrines and temples of the area. While it is a bit older, the rooms are decent sized for Japanese rooms. Everything is in walking distance if you like to take long walks. The Nara Museum is close by and has a nice little dining room downstairs. Be sure to feed a few of the hundreds of deer that roam on the temple grounds. Explore the small shops that line the neighboring streets for treasures and mealtime bargains. There is an ATM at the Circle K just down the street if you run out of money. Staff at the hotel do have some English and are eager to please. We have never been disappointed with a Sunroute hotel. | "Very nice location, just minutes walk to the beautiful lake with turtles. Staff were incredibly nice. Internet free and the rooms quite large.
Would definitely stay here again. We only stayed one night, but would stay for longer next time." |
