"Overall a good option for those looking for a well located budget hotel. Literally on top of a metro station with excellent bus connections (although there is no noise pollution). You couldn't ask for a better base for the Castle district, which for me is Osaka's most interesting sightseeing area with an excellent museum and the remains of the Palace as well as the Castle."

"The hotel location is good but we have problem finding it :), the train station just below the hotel. Language will be difficult around Japan. It is 30mins walk to the Osaka Castle. The room is very small especially the bathroom. Buffet was great, nice view from the window. Overall the hotel is clean."

"Room and bathroom on the small side, but we did expect that. Everything clean and tidy, staff excellent, very helpful. Good view of the river from dinning room."

"We stayed at the Castle hotel in Osaka Japan for 1 night in March 2008. The hotel was going through some renovation at the time so loud building work was going on downstairs. As the name suggest, the Castle Hotel was ment to feel like a castle. But the interior furnishings came across as dusty, outdated and old. It just didn't work. Hence the renovations. It would probably look great when finished. If the Osaka Castle was your main reason for your visit to Osaka, this hotel is located in a great location to service that attraction and there is a great park between the hotel and Osaka Castle which we loved spending time in."

"It is very conveniently located, subway station entrance is just next door. The staff are very polite and helpful. The only inconvenience is that the lift is on one end of a very long corridor, it seems to take a long time to reach one's room especially when one has been walking the whole day. "

"The hotel is excellently located on the banks of the river. Directly beneath it is Tenmabashi train station which links to all the other lines, there is also a shopping mall adjoining it as well as a food mall. The room itself could have done with more storage, they put a sofa in the room that was never used and it would have been better if this space was used for some drawers and possible a desk area, but apart from this the room was fine. I would recommend this hotel for anyone thinking of staying in Osaka as it is also withing 15min walking distance of Osaka castle and about 25 min walking distance to Osaka museum of history, it is ideally situated for anyone wishing to explore Osaka."

"The hotel was conveniently located just above the train station, the staff was friendly and quite helpful to American tourists with no Japanese language skills, the rooms were comfortable, quiet, large enough for the three of us who stayed there and well equipped. I recommend the hotel without hesitancy. "

"Our room overlooked the river with lovely views of the cherry blossom. The hotel/room was excellent value for money, was very clean and the staff extremely courteous. We would certainly consider staying here again."

"I stayed here for 2 nights with my boyfriend. The hotel was farther from the Shin-Osaka station than I thought, but it was right next to another station, a shopping center, and even a Starbucks. The staff at night when we arrived spoke less English than the day staff when we checked out. The room is very small, but it was clean and the temperature was not too hot or too cold. The walls are a little thin, we could hear people as they woke up the next day, but it was not terrible. Breakfast was ok, my boyfriend suggests staying away from the eggs. We were able to find our way to Osaka Castle on our own and some nice places to eat very close to the hotel."

"Accommodation is worthy at reasonable price."
