"Chisun Shinsaibashi is a great place to stay. My bf and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hotel reception staff were always helpful and accommodating! I got to change rooms for free as my first room didn't have wireless internet and they were nice enough to bring my luggage straight to my room for me while I went out to wait for the cleaning service to finish. The location is ok, you can't rely on JR if you're in this area though because JR stations are a fair walk away (I didn't want to pay for a taxi) although the subway is within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. After you get there you can pay the fare to get to a JR line and it's only 2 stops away. That was the only real complaint I had about the location of the hotel. The only bad thing about the hotel is that there's actually no in-house laundry facility. They recommended a place about 10 minutes walk away which was old and frankly, a little dirty and there was no machine that we could buy detergent from. As there was also only one dryer (and it was in use at the time) I decided not to wash my clothing there and just went back to the hotel to handwash my clothes. I don't recommend that either though, as you can really only hang a few items up maybe in the bathroom. Other than that, my room was always clean, smoke-smell free, the hotel facilities all worked well and dinner was a 10 minute walk away to Dotombori, where most of the night life was happening. It was a great stay for the price, thanks Chisun Shinsaibashi Hotel!"

"As this was my first stop in Japan ever, the small rooms were a shocker. Barring the lack of a standard iron and table, the hotel was very conveniently located near a subway station and there is a lot of food and night life available within 5 minutes walking of the hotel."

"Stay Dates: 2/06/08 - 6/09/08. Travellers: Two girls, mid twenties on our first trip to Osaka, Japan. Location: Fairly good with the entrance to the underground Nigorhoribashi Station (NS)literally outside the hotel. There are many shops and restaurants in this underground station. You can alight @ Shinsaibashi Station (one stop away) and walk to this hotel (10 minute tops) and save time having to change platforms to find NS. Hotel Room: Fairly small, however neat and clean. The bathroom was relatively small and looked like a port-a-loo inserted into the room. New flat screen TV with no english channels besides CNN. Bring your laptop as this hotel offers free cable connections (as with all our hotels actually and we stayed @ 5 different ones during our trip!). No iron or converter available for hire. Service: No surprise that while this is predominately a business hotel, the staff speak limited English. However, they are always genuine and helpful when in contact. We found this hotel great value for money so would recommend if you are not fussed with fancy rooms or decor and just need a clean safe place to sleep at night. Thanking AsiaRooms for always offering great deals and for making our bookings easy and hassle free. Trinh & Judy Le Sydney, Australia"
