| "This is the worst hotel experience that I have encountered. The room was not well-cleaned where I found strands of hair, the carpet looks dirty, there is only "warm" aircon.
In addition, on my second night, they forgot to clean the room!!The hotel staff only offered to clean my room the following day, and had try to argue that we had put the "do not disturb" sign outside our room, which we were absolutely sure we did not.
Location-wise, the hotel is located quite some distance from the busy streets of Shinsaibashi and Dontombori.

| "we usually travel through nanba station so this was a convenient place, close to Nipponbashi. The staff were polite and spoke some english. But the best part was the large room for 3 people. We were traveling with our adult son and it was perfect. The bathroom was a typical small bathroom, but the size of the room was unusual in our experience. The woodwork was a little bit worn and the rug beside the refrigerator needed a better vacuuming. I was surprised by this as the rest of the room was very clean. All in all, it was a very good hotel for our needs and we will stay there again. " |

| "The room is small and the furniture are old. The semi-double bed is just ok for two adults. The bathroom is ok and clean enough. The wall is very thin and we can hear people from next door. The location is very good. It is very close to nipponbashi metro station, but is quite far away from the Nankai Namba airport line. (15 mins walk) Convenience shops can be found within 1-2 minutes walk. Great value." |

| "We had booked a room for 3 people and found it to exceed our expectations. The staff at reception had been able to speak a decent amount of english and were always polite. The rooms were cleaned everyday we were there. Beds were always made, new clean towels, clean yukata, tooth brushes, all the necessary toiletries (toothbruth, soap, razors), and sanitized cups.
The bathroom would have probably the best I've had to live with whilst in Japan.
The size of the room was decent also.
There are vending machines on the premises (beer, soft drinks, cigerettes) aswell as a public payphone. They provided a map in english showing clubs, areas to shop around as well as a place for internet access.
Fujiya Osaka is located on a main road about a 5 minute walk from 2 subway stations. (Nowhere near a JR station for those with a Railpass!)
For those who like to stay out late there is no curfew and there is security on hand during the late hours.
I have no real complaints about this place except for getting invited to look at 'free information' everytime we walked down an alleyway to and from the hotel. " |

| "The hotel is perfect if you are looking for a low budget hotel. It is very close to the shopping arcade and downtown, so there is a lot to do. The train and subway stations are in convenient locations and there is a market nearby. Overall, it's a great place to stay." |
