"the location is right next to the shopping + resturant area for the night time entertainment but not on the busy street . Room size for 3 persons is comfortable in the japan hotel standard . "

"The location is perfect for walking around and seeing the sights in town. Also lots of restaurants and shopping malls which are affordable and quite quaint. The room is quite small but very common for Japan - at least they had a massage chair and a small little cabinet to hang 3 or four outfits :) Eventhough it was smack in the middle of the shopping district - a couple of huge, bright and noisy pachino parlors - the noise did not reach the room. Service is a bit of a challenge if you don't speak Japanese but the staff at least tried. Suitable if you want just a room to crash while sight seeing but not if you want a romantic getaway or to chill in the room."

"We found the New Hotel Sunroute more than sufficient for our stay in Sapporo. We also appreciated very much the convenience of the hotel's location right in the heart of the Odori Park/Suskino area. The ample space of the room was another plus point as well as the hotel's courteous and helpful staff. We shall most likely stay at the hotel should we visit Sapporo again. A bonus point for the hotel is the bus for Shin Chitose airport stops across road in front of the hotel's main entrance. "

"Even though the single room is small but quite comfortable with almost all the facilities. More importantly, the counter service provided which is extremely helpful to a foreigner. Thank you and hope to see you again"

"Possitively: 1. I could get the room that fit to my request. 2. The location of the hotel is OK. 3. Services provided by the hotel personnels were OK. 4. Security and cleanliness were OK. 5. Efficient logistic system. Negatively: 1. The size of the room is small comparing with the price with no breakfast included. "

"This hotel is conveniently located. Room is clean and most important, there is a massage chair which is really a comfort after all day of walking and shopping. Car Park fee (if you drive) is abit high but guess that is what you would expect in Sapporo itself as compared to other places in Hokkaido. I would conclude that it is a value-for-money hotel to stay in while you are in Sapporo. "

"My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. The hotel location was perfect. It is situated on the famous shopping street and the bus stop to take the airport bus is just across the hotel. It is very convenient. We will definitely stay here again. "

"Hotel was very clean, friendly, safe and convient. I would recommend it to a friend or college. The staff were not very confident with english language. We should have learned more Japanese or least had a phrase book. "
