| "Fantastic hotel with stunning mountain alps view and a three floors outdoor hot spa. For those who want to experience an Onsen (Japanese Hot Spa)for the first time, this hotel does cater all the kits (including plastic bag for wet towels!) and instructions. A proper intro to a Japanese ritual in a five star surrounding. Definitely a must for an inquisitive traveller!!!" |

| "The room was tastefully decorated. The staff was courteous and helpful. The hot spring spa was superb comparing the ones that we tried before. The shuttle bus stops on the outer curb in front of the train station. During the day, it runs once every half hour and was very punctual on time. A taxi ride is about " |

| "We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much. The view is breathtakingly beautiful. The hot spring tubs are nice to use in the evenings. Our room was extremely quiet. The shuttle bus is very easy to take to and from the station.
We would recommend any one going to the Takayama area to stay there. My only disappointment was that the air conditioner was not operating in our room. The weather was cool when we were there, so it was not a big problem." |

| "We had a wonderful time.
The staff could not have been more friendly.
Our only criticism was in respect of the restaurant prices which we thought were far too high,so we ate in the town,where the prices were 70% less!
