| "The accommodation was clean, friendly staff but the room was a bit small for 3 adults, but when you are on holidays, you only sleep there so we thought it was fine" |

| "We stayed five other cities in japan this trip at four star hotel but this hotel was most expensive and worst hotel compare with other hotels.
It is not worth this price
Location is the only good point but other than that it should be much cheaper with this facilties
Bath room is so small and room floor is not clean.
Rooms smell smoke even it is non-smoking room
Breakfast is good & staff are helpfull
It should be less expensive

| "I stayed with Washington Plaza two consecutive years. Right across the street from Takayama train station, the location is ideal. Typically small (Japanese) room, it was very clean and functional. The service staff was exceptional...very accomodating to your every need. Breakfast was excellent and they offer both Japanese and western style. An excellent travel bargain with no loss of amenities and service. " |

| "The hotel is very close to the JR Train Station and at about 15 minutes walking to the historical center of the city.
The room was very small but it was clean. The same with the bathroom.
The breakfast is good and you can choose between the asian and the european breakfast." |

| "If you are traveling by rail the hotel location is very convenient, right across from the Takayama Station. It is only a 15 minute walk to the morning market and the old part of town.
Since we were sharing our room with our young daughter the hotel staff was very accomodating by placing us in a three bed room. Our room was very comfortable and clean. American or Japanese breakfast which was included was very good. We enjoyed the Japanese breakfast which had some of the local dishes such as Hoba miso and local mountain vegetables. Takayama is a beautiful city and the Hida Washington Plaza is great place to stay." |
