Comments:

Traveling to Japan often, this is my home away from home. While not situated in the dead center of Tokyo (e.g. like Hotel Imperial), it is practically connected to Shinagawa station, which makes transfer around tokyo quite simple, as well as efficient trips on the Shinkansen to Osaka, Nagoya, Kyoto. Be sure to book a deluxe room (not a single) because the bathroom is absolutely wonderful in the deluxe and completely average in the single. The hotel breathes tranquility. It begins on the 26th floor, and has an open lobby (through the 36th floor)/atrium/restaurant with flowing water. Breakfast is about as good as you can get, in terms of quality and variety. Being so high, views can be spectacular, with the south rooms looking at Mt. Fuji, which can be seen on clear days.
