| "First of all, do not expect a usual Marriott (or a Renaissance) luxury or size. This one is much modest. You feel a bit paying too much for such class, as the facilities are poor, (for those, who stay for amusement) rooms are small and food is pretty unsatisfactory. If you mind having meals in some restaurants (there are thousands around!) outside, probably you will feel better. But as 4 businessmen, we were okay. Since all our contacts were around Chuo / Chiyoda districts, we could get easily by both taxi and subway. Location is really splendid. But male candidates should beware of their spouses, as the famous (and over-priced) Ginza shopping area is only minutes by walk! The staff were fabulous; they made our life easy. I thank them a lot. " |

| "This was a marvelous hotel, beautifully located just a few blocks from the Ginza, near subway stops, walking distance to the Palace, etc. We very much enjoyed our stay. One suggestion for the restaurant staff is to work a bit harder at keeping the buffet food hot. Food was good but not particularly hot. " |

| "A lovely hotel although our room hadn't been renovated but was still very nice. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Within walking distance of the subway, Kabuki theatre, fish market and shopping district." |

| "The room was small, but OK and the hotel service was fine with the concierge very helpful. I did not find any western food in the restaurants, no place to have a western breakfast. The location was good, close to the metro which was helpful." |

| "The staff was great, the porter politely refused tipping by explaining that tips are not required in Japan. The location is great, 1.5 blocks away from the subway station, 2X2 blocks away from the Ginza clock/Wako building. We found nearby the most exquisite Gallery Cafe, which is well decorated and serve great capuccino with Royal Copenhagen hand painted ceramics set. Only 15 min walk away from 24 hour fish market.
Close to the Imperial palace, and East garden. A bit of traveler's tip, avoid visiting the garden when it's sunny. The July sun is more tolerable when shrouded in the cloud.
The rooms are the typical efficient but small rooms, the beds aren't very comfortable, and the bathroom could really be deodorized/cleaned throughly. That's probably the only reason that makes me a bit hesitant. Not what I expected of a 4 start hotel." |
