"We have stayed at Gimmond five times now, and that must be the best recommondation. Gimmond is a nice place with very a kind and helpfull staff. It is located close to subway so it is easy to get around. Te rooms are small but have everything you need, and are clean and cosy. "

"We have stayed at the Hotel Gimmond on 2 previous occasions. It is a good location as it is near the underground station , not far from Tokyo central railway station and in a quiet neighbourhood. It is good location during the week but not so good at the week-end when most local restaurants are closed and the hotel restaurant is closed too. The rooms are adequate. The desk staff could be a little more friendly. The restaurant staff are not particularly friendly nor their uniform very clean. But all in all the hotel is good value for money. "

"The Gimmond hotel in Tokyo is in a quiet business area close to a subway station and with good reasonably priced restaurants and convenience stores all around it. The rooms are relatively small but clean and comfortable and represent good value for Tokyo. I paid AUD $96 for a single room which I thought was good value."

"The stay was enjoyable the only issue was the size of the room. We found it extremely small for 2 people and 2 large suitcases. The location was fine. We were able to use the Metro which was close by to travel to Ginza & Tokyo station. Overall if I was travelling alone the room would be perfect."

| "I was in the Gimmond hotel in Tokyo in april 2002, for 5 days (yes, if you are looking for my previous comment i normally spend 5 days in the same place). Why I rate it only 8/10? Well, simply for the price, that was, in my opinion, a little too high, considering the "star" of the hotel. Would I suggest it? Yes, because it was clean, stuff help me to find post office, asked information about a Kamakura trip i did, room was clean (a little small, maybe), there was a vending machine in the floor (with free ice), and most important it is close to subway station, in a "good" line, a few stop from Tokyo Eki and Ueno/Akihabara zone.
