What a great place to stay. The understated but perfectly preserved 70's - yet stylish - decor made it. Really convenient for subway travel.

| "I was for the first time in Japan and in Tokyo. After coming from Narita airport by Limousine bus directly to the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised at the reception of GRAND PRINCE AKASAKA. They were very kind. I came one hour before official check-in time, at about 1 pm. My single room hasn't been ready yet, so they offered to me double room, which is much more spacious. The hotel is on very good location, nearby walking district Akasaka with many shops, restaurants, bars etc. You don't feel you are in 12 million Tokyo, even if my hotel room was on the 27th floor of 40 floors building.
The buffet breakfast on the 40th floor restaurant was rich and tasty. One could taste cold, warm and Japanese meals, everything well arranged and with lots of fruits and vegetables. I really enjoyed my staying in this hotel and I am coming back.
Thank you, GRAND PRINCE AKASAKA and ASIAROOMS.COM!" |

| "Hotel is well located, has a slightly older feel about it, but I found to be good value for money for Tokyo. Convenient to metro and Akasaka restaurant area. Has 3 restaurants for breakfast which was fine but uninspiring. I got an upgraded room, which was well recieved, so not sure what the room would have been like if I had the one I booked. The room had separate bedroom and living area and was quite spacious. Compared to the normal 5 star hotel I stay at, this had 90% of the value for 60% of the price." |

| "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel had all the necessary facilities and amenities and the service was good. We had a very nice non-smoking double room with a good view. The bathroom was very clean with nice soft towels. The breakfast, both Japanese and Western, was very good. The hotel was located in a central spot. " |

| "Great location not far from imperial palace in a beautiful neiborhood. Easy underground connection. Great architecture (Kenzo Tange) with impressive panoramic views at most rooms. Friendly and efficient service. Will need refurbishment soon to remain competitive in Tokyo skies. Overall very good value!" |

| "I was disappointed to be charged for a lost room key. It is unusal to have actual room keys these days. Even though I later found the room key I was told I would not be able to receive a refund." |
