| "The Hotel has a great location right in the middle of Sunshine City and very close to Ikebukuro Staion and all the big department stores like Tobu, Seibu and Parko. The staff were really lovely and were always smiling! But the Hotel itself is not so good the rooms were really small and a little run down, but always clean. It's a good place to stay if your just passing through." |

| "I really liked this hotel! The service was very friendly and tried really hard to understand our lack of Japanese language skills. Also helped us get good transportation to the airport when we checked out which was greatly appreciated.
The hotel itself was very nice. It was clean, well lit, and comfortable. The rooms are small, but that's common in Japan and we had no problem being two to a room- and sitting around with 4 people in the room most of the time when our whole travel group was together (though everyone had to sit on the bed as there's not much else in the room).
The location was amazing. It's right in the center of a ton of shopping and food. We actually could have spent the entire vacation just right outside the hotel and been perfectly happy. There's a theater, arcades, tons of restaurants, a Tokyu Hands, all sorts of anime collectible and toy and comic shops, and a huge mall super close, plus the subway lines were just a block up.
We were only up early enough for the complimentary breakfast once, but it seemed like a decent free breakfast, buffet style, with a good selection for eastern or western breakfast habits.
All in all I'd totally stay at this hotel again and will be recommending it to friends." |

| "We were 14 persons together and everyone of our group was very satiesfied about our 4 nights stay.
As an organiser of this Japan-tour I declare that we had lot of value for our money in this hotel.

| "This hotel could use some new carpet and some paint. However, the room itself was kept clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the location was perfect for me. I had also stayed at a much larger and much more modern hotel on my last visit and wanted something smaller this time. For location and price, it can't be beat, but if you want modern amenities and don't like stains on the hallway carpets, you don't want to stay here. " |

| "I think this is one of the few hotels that has free internet access with 2 computer terminals at the lobby for guests to use. It is great for people who do not have or did not bring any laptops.
The single room is small but i am perfectly ok with it. The lcd tv is quite large, very good for TV shows. The breakfast is good especially for those who like Japanese. They have salmon!
Location is great! Right in the middle of shopping street and very near to Ikebukuro JR station. only a few mins walk to reach Seibu and Parco department stores as well as Sunshine City. Will definitely stay again " |

| "Overall rating is perfect. But I think the hotel staffs especially who works at front desk should be fluent in English in order to ease foreign customers. However, my husband&I enjoyed our stay at Ikebukuro Theatre Hotel." |
