| "I found my stay in the Pearl to be a pleasant experience. The hotel is ideally place for access to the city centre and the excellent transport system. the rooms are small and there does seem the be little facility to store large amounts of luggage, which tends to make it ok for short stay customers.
I found the staff very pleasant and helpful at all times, the reception is friendly and welcoming (free internet access in foyer) and the staff speak a little English so I was able to communicate effectively. Customer service was excellent, an example was when I overheard an American tourist complaining about her room even after having it changed and had become rude and argumentative, the staff dealt with her with the customary Japanese reserve and tact.
Signage is in English as well as Japanese and amenities and services are well explained in the room information pack. I stayed at the Pearl on two occasions whilst in Japan and both times had an identical experience.
In conclusion, the Hotel caters for a variety of guests and is more suited to the budget/short stay traveller but value for money and level of service makes it worthy of consideration." |

| "The hotel is located perfectly in the center of the Wall Street. Very convenient to Metro Station. The staff was very accomodating, even though, the entire reception hall and cafeteria were under renovation. Highly recomended for short stay travelers and folks on budget. Breakfast was eccelent." |

| "The hotel is very close to TCAT and the Metro which is a plus. The hotel will also ferry you to and from TCAT at no cost.
The bedroom is so small that you only have enough space to just walk past 2 sides of the bed. There is no where to put your luggage so you have to squeeze past this as well.
The bathroom is not big enough to swing a cat in, and makes life very awkward when you are trying to dry yourself.
On the plus side the staff are very friendly and can speak a little English and the hotel is clean. It is just the size of the rooms that let the hotel down, but then again it was quite cheap for Japan." |

| "The location of this hotel was excellent. It was in a great part of town and it was just a couple minute walk to the metro. When you come from the metro, get off at Kayabacho Station, take exit 4b, walk straight out over the bridge, and make a left at the Family Mart. From there you can't miss the hotel. We were booked in a semi-double. It was small but it was clean and it was fine since you don't stay in the room much anyway. The included buffet breakfast was a great way to start the day. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't want to spend a fortune or anyone looking for a convenient location to the metro." |

| "The room I stayed in was rather small and in need of upgrading, I think the hotel is going through an upgrade process and I drew a short straw, It was still clean and comfy, bathroom a little more cramped than Universe or Comfort hotels, breakfast adequate but much more Japanese orientated. Very convenient to TCAT terminal and Kayabacho station and 20 minutes walk to Tokyo central. Convenience store on corner and eateries handy." |

| "We were there as a family of 2A and 2C, staying in a non-smoking triple room for 6 nights. Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel. Room is clean and neat. Good location, just a short walk (3-4mins) to the Kayabacho metro subway station.
Walk to Tokyo station is possible but be prepared to walk for 30mins. There is a convenient store just nearby with a few small restaurants.
Only one problem ie in-hotel restaurant serves the same breakfast food everyday and noticed that the table cloth was not changed after each use so they look stained, which was not expected." |

| "Everything is great with the hotel. We stayed there for 3 nights. Here are my comments:
1. Hotel staff are polite and helpful.
2. The breakfast is basic and very limited. You will get almost the same type of food every morning.
3. Location is very good, near subway station. It is just one stop to Odemachi/Tokyo station.
4. There are 2 convenient stores within walking distance, it is easy to buy food/drinks if required, but you can also purchase it through the vending machine at the lobby of the hotel. The price is almost similar to that sold in convenient stores.
5. Internet facilities is available free-of-charge at the lobby through wi-fi services. It can get really crowded with business people around 9 am and in the evening when everyone is hanging around there to check their emails.
6. The hotel rate is excellent, and I would highly recommend anyone who like to stay near the Tokyo station to stay at Kayabacho Pearl Hotel!" |
