| "The location is fantastic , close to roppongi and surrounded by gardens. Service is very japanese, that is close to perfect . We didn't have a chance to try the outdoor swimming pool but it looked very tempting and is a big plus in Tokyo.
But my favourite feature was the very fifties design of the lobbies and bar. " |

| "The OKURA never fails to please. PITY ITS SISTER HOTEL IN kYOTO WAS NOT AVAILABLE. It remains my first choice - and,at cherry blossom time, has the added advantage of a glorious promenade just below the hotel." |

| "The hotel is good for everything except for being sensitive towards different diets.
The word VEGETARIAN or VEGAN is not well understood.
No matter how good the service is, people who have special needs will have a difficult time explaining to the restaurants what they need." |

| "The service and hospitality are impeccable. This is one of the older Japanese hotels that has a history of being a 5 star hotel. I understand that many dignataries, diplomats, and business executives frequent this hotel. Excellent restaurants. Good location. But, normally, a little more expensive compared to other 5 star hotels. As much as I liked this hotel and would highly recommend it to others, I prefer the New Otani Hotel for slightly better location, access to Tokyo's subway system, and value/cost for similarly excellent service, hospitality, and English speaking abilities." |
