| "I live in Tokyo but I was staying here only because I had to attend a work-related conference here. The hotel staff were kind and attentive. The bathroom was spotless and had all the basic basics (toothbrush, towels,cotton swabs, etc)
The biggest problem was that although the hotel was clean, it was showing it's age. It needs to be renovated and the carpet in my room needs to be thoroughly cleaned because it had stains from shoes/boots.
A good thing is that if you ask the front desk, they'll lend you a LAN cable to connect (for free) to the internet in your room! You can also ask for an English newspaper to be delivered to your room in the morning.
The buffet breakfast was satisfactory with a choice of western and Japanese foods but the scrambled eggs were way too runny.
If you're looking for basic comfort, proximity to central subways and cleanliness then you should stay here. I think it could be a 3 star hotel if it were renovated and updated." |
