| "We found the New Grand to be better than we expected in terms of its service. The staff was very attentive and capable. The view from each of the two rooms we stayed in was outstanding and our family from the local area were very impressed. We definitely will stay at the New Grand again if given the opportunity." |

| "Lovely hotel! The restaurant was undergoing renovations so that's why the facilities only got 3 stars but it was no problem to us. Would certainly recommend this hotel! The staff were very helpful and the rooms were a good size." |

| "We enjoyed a room on the 11th floor with a wonderful view of the bay and Yokohama Park for three nights. Plenty of room around the king size bed and a nice sitting area by the window. The service was great, very attentive. They didn’t provide internet access at the hotel but we were able to connect to a near by wireless network from our room. The hotel is next to China Town, with some wonderful restaurants and fun shopping. We also enjoyed a dinner bay cruise on the Royal Wing; they served a very good Chinese dinner and offered meal options for every budget. The hotel staff helped us make the arrangements. I recommend going at night to admire Yokohama’s city lights. The city offers many shopping opportunities including a 5 story mall near the amusement park which is a short cab ride or nice walk from the hotel. The amusement park boast to have one of the worlds largest Ferris wheels, we couldn’t resist a ride for a wonderful bird’s eye view of the city and bay. Had a fabulous holiday in Yokohama and would highly recommend New Grand Hotel!" |

| "The New Grand Hotel is ,by far, the best value for the money. A beautiful Hotel across the street from parks and Yokohama Bay waterfront. The rooms are spacious and clean as a whistle. Bathrooms spacious with all upgrades. The restaurant on the 5th floor is just stunning...for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Views are magnificent...service top notch. I will only stay at New Grand from now on. It is one of those gems that frequent travelers like to share with like minded friends. " |

| "The hotel is actually quite a stroll from the JR station think about 15-20min walk through chinatown to the wharf (or a few minutes if you take the subway). The hotel is just off the harbour with great views. The room we got was large and really really nice with good views of the harbour. This was by far the best hotel we stayed at on our trip but also the most expensive for our budget. The hotel staff spoke good english. Getting to site seeing locations is a bit of a hike though as most activities are located near Yokohoma JR station so you have to either walk back and catch the JR to Yokohama or take the subway. If you don't mind the walk the stroll along the waterfront to the amusement park side is a nice walk." |

| "We had a wonderful view of the harbour and rose garden. It is very close to China town which is crazy because this is Japan. Metro was very close. The new lobby was a little dull but rooms were great ad the people were helpful." |

| "Love the hotel. Would recommend improvement on air flow during the night. Was a little hot. Is it or was it possible to have at least some programing in English? Or at least, the ability to order it. The staff was excellent. Can't say enough about them. They all deserve raises. Hope to come back in September or recommend my friend, who is coming, to stay there.
