The building of the new Royal Old City Hotel (ex. Boutique Hotel Viesturs) has been finished in October 2009. The hotel is situated in the heart of the Old city. The architectural decision of the hotel amazes by unusual combination of a modernist style and fragments of an ancient bricklaying of walls.
