| "I first stayed at Strawberry Park in 1987. It was beautiful and cool then. Sadly, not much has changed since. While the hotel is still relatively comfortable to stay in, obvious signs of wear and tear have set in. When we walked up the steps to my apartment at Blk D, Rm 443, we were quite surprised to see bird dropping stains on the steps. It was pretty obvious that the steps had not been cleaned for some time. The floor of the room was dusty too. A number of light bulbs in the room had blown & we called maintenance to replace them - which they promptly did. In the compounds, we noticed the management of SPark was not very concerned about aesthetics - as rows of untidy-looking gas canisters were left exposed near the Maintenance Department shed to full view of guests. There was also an outdoor food reception area opposite the Lobby which appeared to be unattended and untidy-looking. Also, the Canopy Walk near the SPark hotel which has a suspension rope bridge had been closed to guests - probably also due to a lack of maintenance - and so unsafe. Sigh .... a pity. This seems to be a recurrent problem with hotels aand attractions in Malaysia. When something is newly opened - it would work to near perfection. After some years, they would be left to degenerate due to neglect and poor maintenance. They they will slip in rating - and eventually abandoned. I dread to think this might happen also to Strawberry Park. The Tourism Minister of Malaysia ought to look into rejunevating the whole of Cameron Highlands. The whole place looks tired and uninviting .... Sigh." |

| "It is situated in a good location for a scenery and family togetherness. Towns are located between 5 to 10 mins drive and taxi are easily available by informing the front desk receptionist." |

| "The stay was quite good except for the service. First and foremost, the waiting time is long for the check in and the housekeeping is poor in judgement. During the house keeping there is no replenishment of toilet rolls for both our rooms on the 2nd day of our trip. Therefore we requested for some at the front counter. Unfortunely, the toilet rolls was not delivered as promised. Further to this, the heater issue can be improve because the hot water will turn to cold within a short period of time. " |

| "The room was all right - size of the room is large but overall I would rate the room as a 2 -star. The resort is 6 kms away from the town and there is nothing close by. The hotel does not have a shuttle service to the town and one has to hire a cab to go to the town. The resort also doesnt have shuttle service within its area and one has to walk to the lobby - which is quite inconvenient when it is raining - which is quite often.
The resort also doesnt not have any porters and we had to carry our luggage to our room - which is a pain if the room is on the higher floors as the resort does not have any elevators.
I would look for other options if I were to go to Cameron Highlands again." |

| "The location of the hotel is perfect, an breathtaking view. But the whole complex (except the spa is new and fresh) needs a boost and renovation. Rooms are dirty; sand and cockroag at the stair entrance were there for 3 days.
Facilities were used for sotrage, swimmingpool is unenjoyable (no seats, pictures at wall). And we were charged for 4 persons, but we were with 2 adults and one child. Staff was not very friendly and helpful. But we enjoyed the shower, they were excellant warm." |

| "Overall it's a nice place to stay. It's just that it's a bit dated in terms of interiors. The bathrooms really need a facelift. Though the building we stayed was a wireless internet zone, we couldn't get any access. Only after making payment & after failing to connect that the staff told us our room is not in the range. However, the best part is the attitude of the F&B staff. Even though it was overly crowded at breakfast, they went about with their job with professionalism & could also seen smiling and attending to guests' whimps & fancies. Some of them were even working till late the night before. Kudos to them! " |
