"Everything is good!1st impression last! Nice hotel lobby, good food in the cafe and swimming pool was great. Service from reception, bellhop, housekeeping and cafe was great too. Only in the room, if they could do something with the sliding bathroom door and carpet... and everything will tiptop. Upon check in, we found the sliding door was slunting and nearly fall. It is dangerous as it can fall anytime but we manage to put it in place ourselve as it is easily fixed. As for the carpet,they realy need a shampoo time.. another thing, the cafe was too small. How if they having high occupancy??... we have to wait and Q for braekfast for 20mins before we could sit and enjoy breakfast. Pls find other alternative and soltution to the points above... Its a nice hotel.. we will sure be back.. "

"The furnitures inside the room is very old, suggest they should do some renovation in the hotel The TV is very small in the room which i stayed The breakfast area is not big enough to cater most of the customers, customers will still need to queue for their breakfast"

"As others have said here, the hotel is looking a little tired! However it does offer great value and I would stay again on my next trip to the JB area"

"The bathroom was excellent and spacious. Door lock repaired almost instantly. But, it was a big mistake to stay in JB and travel to and fro to Singapore!! The jam was horrible at causeway when returning to JB even at midnite. Never ever do that, unless you're really tight in your budget. Otherwise, it's not worth at all. Hotel was good overall though the breakfast was the same for the 3 days we stayed there. "

"very nice at the front entrance/swimming pool area and reception,but once you get out of the lift and enter your room,your true thoughts of 5 star accommodation are quickly eroded. "

"The hotel really is in need of a paint job, the walls doors ect are really dirty in the rooms and the corridor, if they did this the hotel would nearly be perfect. All other parts of the hotel were clean. This was handy for us as we crossed from singapore to malaysia across the causeway into johur bahur, just to do something different, the hyatt is close to the causeway so the hotel was convienent for us. The hotel has a wonderful view of singapore from your hotel room this was the best thing the night view is great. The pool area is good, eating facilities are good, service was good. Entry to the hotel is good. Just paint it!!! "

"The buffet breakfast is not up to Hyatt hotel's standard. Disappointed over the quality & the variety of the buffet range... It's time to get a new TV set & mattress."

"The hotel, which was once a luxury one, is looking rather dated and tired. New carpets and redecoration would help a lot. The breakfast service area was rather congested. The front desk staff did not have very good English which lead to our getting some inaccurate information, which fortunately was rectified later when talking to a different clerk. The taxi we ordered did not come on time, but the bellhops were helpful about this. However, the cost of the accommodation was reasonable, and the room relatively comfortable and of a good size. The swimming pool was splendid, although we did not have time to use it as we were in transit."
