when we checked into hotel 10pm we were first given room no.704 which had a broken bathroom door
they sent a repair man at 10.30pm to fix up the door with screws and nails, but the sliding door would not work.
then we ask for another room, we were suggested rm.705 but the room had a bad smoke stench, we did not like.
then finaly at 11.30pm, we were all very tired
we were given another room no. 910 and finally settled in and slept.
We are very very disappointed with the state of affairs at the Hyatt in JB. Very sorry we had to choose Hyatt.
Defineitely will not stay at Hyatt again
and will not recommend to my friends at all.
The carpets had patches of stains and discolouring
and the passage carpet was disappointing to look.
this cannot be a 5 star hotel we had expected in Hyatt.

1)The staff, especially the restaurants;
2)The excellent food served at the restaurants;
3)The kindness and care to the children and family overall needs.
To improve:
1)Some parts need renovation (to be undertaken soon, we heard).

Was absolutely disppointed when they have given me a room with a very dirty bathroom curtain. As for the other , i am rather satisfied with it. Hyatt should really look into the small details of their room so that they can live up to their high standards" |

| "Overall, we had a pleasant stay, albeit a short one. We were very pleased with the attention and service. Rooms, though were rather sub-standard, in terms of the dated furniture. A paint job and newer furniture would brighten up the room. Also, the bed-linen could use a change.
The location, though, was ideal for us, as it was isolated yet close enough to the city to drive. " |

| "Location is ok.. It is less than 5 mins drive from City Square.. Hotel facilites include swimming pool, gym and massage.. There's a pub also..
But the thing that I dun like is the service. My fren & I were one of the earlier ones that reached the hotel.. However, we were the last to check-in. The hotel lobby's service is extremely slow and there were no smiles on their faces when we checked in.
Then when we reached our room (sea-view). The view is exactly the same as the picture online. Very pretty. Then we realized that the lamps on the tables were not working. We tried to call Room Service, but no one picked up, so we called Front Desk. They said that they will arrange someone to come up, but after 30 mins, no one turned up to fix the lamps.
In turn, we had to call the Front Desk again and finally after 15 mins, someone came up to change the bulbs.
The room was rather spacious. But there was stains in the carpet and the wood seems a little worn out with lots of scratches.
Other than that, everything was perfect. The front desk people start smiling at us and patiently answered our every question. Very nice.
Breakfast was good with selections availble." |
