| "This is my third stay with Mutiara Hotel over the last four years. I find it's location next to holiday plaza is great for most of my shopping. The staffs are friendly and morning buffet is good. I specified a non smoking room and it was decent. Room size is good for average family of four. There is a safe in the room and the rate is great compare to Singapore." |

| "Good hotel. Near City centre. About 30-40 minutes from Johor Airport. Breakfast is good, enough choices. Room is pretty large. You can change money in the hotel and they give a good rate (for a hotel)." |

| "hotel in great location and acceptable facilities available.my only setback was the condition of the bath tub as it was stained !!
my other concern was that upon enquiry we were told the check-out time was 3pm yet we were checking in at 2pm.
i am commendating this as when i was checking in a gentleman beside me was very upset that his room was not avialable at 2pm & the excuse given by the mgr on-duty ( indian / muslim man ) was that they had a full house of 290 rooms and he cannot control the check-out times of guests!! i myself could not get a non-smoking room as it was not ready but i din want to wait so i took watever was available at 2pm.....i hope the mgmt see that there is already a problem with their system !!
all the same we had a good time & we especially enjoyed the service & the buffet spread we had for tea...thank you all & happy new year....." |

| "Very Nice Indeed. Buffet Breakfast is comparable to the best there is. Rooms and Lobby were old style grand, updates would be nice but not necessary. Staff a bit overworked but professional. Drivers would be hard pressed to find fault with location but parking space is limited. Swimming pool is small be sufficient for the kids and lazing around. Never used it but very modern and nice gym. Overall, Excellent! Well done Mutiara, the only place in JB I'd stay with family!" |

| "Not up to expectation. Did not touch the tea/coffee making facilities in the room b'cos it is in bad shape. Room smells of old musty carpet and pillows and bed linens smells of perspiration and underwashed laundry. Air-con not cold enough and hot water very hard to control in bathroom. No room slippers and free bottled drinking water. Breakfast is not bad, lots of variety to choose from. Good transport for free shuttle to Pelangi Plaza. Needs to take a taxi to other areas except the walking distance to Holiday Plaza.
For the same price there are better hotels elsewhere, so won't go again." |

| "The newly renovated room is clean and alright. There are small local malls next to the hotel so it's OK if youweant to get something nearly. Breakfast is good. You need to take a taxi to the town (cost less than US$2)." |
